Written by CPRE Oxfordshire

The Oxford Flood Alleviation partnership is holding a series of public events in January to consult on the final route for a flood relief channel west of Oxford.

The Examination into the Vale's draft Local Plan is to resume in February 2016. The hearings are to be held at the Beacon, Wantage, from Tuesday 2nd February 2016. The sessions are anticipated to take place over a three week period, ending Friday 18th February.

Planning Inspector Mr Simon Emerson has been appointed to establish whether the West Oxon Local Plan is 'sound', taking into account the representations made earlier this year, as well as national policy.
