Volunteer

OGBW Abingdon to Radley iv Feb 23

CPRE Oxfordshire is passionate about making the countryside a better place for everyone to enjoy. Our team of volunteers inspire people to care for and enjoy the benefits of the countryside wherever they live.

Volunteering with us is a fantastic opportunity to be involved with a dynamic organisation championing environmental issues such as biodiversity, sustainable transport, water quality and access to green space.

By volunteering with us you’ll be helping to find positive solutions for the issues facing the countryside and the environment. By applying your skills and experience you can make a real difference and be a central part of a friendly and passionate charity.

With your support we can do even more!

There are lots of ways you could help, please get in touch if you are interested in getting involved.

For an informal chat about the roles below or volunteering generally please get in touch with Helen Marshall, Director of CPRE Oxfordshire.

Transport Adviser

We would benefit from having someone with specific professional qualifications and/or experience in the transport sector, to help guide our overall vision on transport matters and advise us on relevant policy approaches.

From time to time there are also specific queries which arise where it would be extremely helpful to have access to a more informed source of advice, such as providing specialist input as appropriate to local policy consultations and regional and national transport developments by national government agencies.

District Committee Members

Could you help discuss and determine the priorities of our district committees? Perhaps you could be a village representative or share your expertise? We welcome all, whether you are concerned about developments in your village/town or wish to influence the future of the district.

Our committees meet 4 or 5 times a year and represent Cherwell, Oxford City, South Oxfordshire, Vale of White Horse, West Oxfordshire.
