The most detailed ever satellite maps of England’s dark skies are today released by the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE). 

The Vale has made public its outline of the work it will be doing over the coming months on preparing its Local Plan 2031 Part 2. The Preferred Options Consultation is due to be held in February 2017.

CPRE campaign helps lead to removal of 1,400 homes proposed for the North Wessex Downs AONB and over 15 Green Belt sites, but overall numbers remain and 1,500 houses across 4 Green Belt sites given the OK.

City's 'Greater Oxford' report

A new Oxford City report has revealed its proposals to build over 11,000 houses in the Oxford Green Belt, to the North and South of the City.

OxLEP – Oxfordshire’s Local Enterprise Partnership – the unelected quango that is driving the economic growth in our county – is holding a public consultation on the ‘Refresh’ of the Strategic Economic Plan (SEP).
