As Oxford City Council gets to work on its development plan through to 2036, it's asking for your initial views on issues such as housing, jobs and green space.  We think its a good chance to speak up for sustainable development, rather than just 'growth'! Consultation closes 12 August.

Written by CPRE Oxfordshire

CPRE believes this central Oxford brownfield site must prioritise housing over more job creation.

Consultation extended until 29 July.

The Vale of White Horse is consulting on its Main Modifications to the Local Plan - the public consultation runs from 20 July to 14 September. The Vale is simultaneously consulting on its draft Statement of Community Involvement (SCI).

South Oxfordshire District Council is currently consulting on the Preferred Options for its Local Plan 2032.  CPRE believes that, where appropriate, higher density development could reduce the greenfield land needed and encourage the right type of housing.  Have you say by 19 August.

CPRE Oxfordshire has launched a new campaign to Save the Oxford Green Belt and protect the historic City of Oxford. Our Green Belt is under threat as never before and we need your help to protect it for future generations!
