HS2 bill timetable illegal?

The HS2 Hybrid Bill was submitted to parliament yesterday.  But with only 56 days consultation on 50,000 pages of documents, CPRE believes the consultation timescale is likely to breach international law.

Abingdon Airport nonsense!

We've told the Airports Commission that plans to build a new London airport in countryside near Abingdon are not credible and should be dismissed as a non-starter.

CPRE Oxfordshire is appalled at Oxford University's decision to move students in to the accommodation at Port Meadow whilst serious planning and environmental issues, including concerns over contamination, remain unresolved.
