M40 Rail-Freight Interchange Proposal

The Oxfordshire Strategic Rail-Freight Interchange (SRFI) is proposed for Junction 10 of the M40, to the West side of the motorway between Ardley to the north, Middleton Stoney to the south and Upper Heyford to the west.  

East West Rail recently consulted on infrastructure proposals, including the route between Oxford and Bicester.

England’s Economic Heartland (EEH) has launched two studies to identify where transport investment is needed across the OxCam corridor. The first are Oxford-Milton Keynes; and Peterborough-Northampton-Oxford.

The Queen’s Green Canopy is a major new tree planting campaign to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – the first ever for a British monarch.

Giving Hedgerows a New Lease of Life.

 

CPRE and Wild Oxfordshire are really excited to be working with the community groups and parish councils of Kidlington, Watlington and Eynsham to plant new hedgerows and rejuvenate ancient ones.
