Oxfordshire County Council have published the Draft Minerals and Waste Local Plan: Part 2 Site Allocations Plan (the Sites Plan) for consultation and we are seeking your views. Consultation closes Wednesday 4th March 2020, 4pm.

The design of new housing developments in England is overwhelmingly ‘mediocre’ or ‘poor’, with less-affluent communities the worst affected, according to a national audit conducted by UCL for CPRE, the countryside charity, and the Place Alliance.

CPRE Oxfordshire believes that putting the County in charge would be a gross act of democratic injustice.

2nd Rate Plan for World Class City

Planning Inspectors today gave the green light to Oxford City’s Local Plan for development, effectively allowing Oxford City’s expansionist approach.

CPRE Oxfordshire has asked Robert Jenrick, Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, to call in a forthcoming decision on the allocation of 4,400 houses in the Oxford Green Belt.

CPRE Oxfordshire will be supporting the 14-acre community space by providing funds for various initiatives. These include training courses, planting a forest garden, improving access and installing information boards to offer a greater understanding of the site and projects.
