Refresh of Oxfordshire Strategic Economic Plan (SEP) – have your say!

22nd February 2016

The Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership is refreshing the Strategic Economic Plan (SEP) for the county over the coming months. As part of this refresh, OxLEP are holding a series of workshops and there will be a one-month public (on line) consultation.

Three workshops have been organised by the Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP) for stakeholders to ‘check and challenge’ the existing Strategic Economic Plan (SEP) for the county and put forward ideas for the refreshed document.

We would urge you (and in turn get you to urge others) to attend one of these workshops to highlight concerns about the aggressive growth strategy as currently proposed – 100,000 houses and 85,000 jobs by 2031!

We understand that OxLEP is not looking to re-visit targets, but more or less limit the consultation to just updating the list of projects.

We do not believe this is acceptable and need to keep up the pressure!

Connectivity: Allow people to move freely, connect easily and provide the services, environment and facilities needed by a dynamic, growing and dispersed economy.

When registering, OxLEP ask that you register your interest for the priority area that you would like to attend.
