We aren’t the only ones who think the Oxford University development at Port Meadow is ugly.   It has been nominated for the 2013 Carbuncle Cup award for bad architecture.  Add your vote now!

The Oxford University accommodation blocks at Port Meadow are ugly and intrusive.   They have had an appalling impact on this special green space that has remained almost untouched for centuries, and destroyed historic views of the city.

Now, their lack of architectural merit has also been recognised.   The development is this week’s feature entry in the 2013 Carbuncle Cup award, run by Building Design
magazine.

Please support our campaign against these buildings by adding a comment to the nomination on the BD website.
