After the AGM, we are delighted that our speaker will be Catriona Bass from Long Mead Local Wildlife Site.

Catriona Bass from Long Mead

Long Mead is a 10-hectare historic floodplain meadow on the River Thames near Swinford, Oxfordshire. With her partner Kevan Martin, Catriona has restored and connected ancient wildflower meadows through the Thames Valley Wildflower Meadow Restoration Project. A passionate advocate for biodiversity and sustainable land management, Catriona also runs care farming initiatives at Long Mead, supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health challenges through nature-based activities.
