CPRE Oxford is calling for an urgent review of use of land within the City as part of the Oxford Plan 2040.
Consultation closes 25th August

The latest consultation on the Oxfordshire Plan 2050 has now launched and runs until 8 October.

Any hopes that campaigners had of stopping Cherwell District Council from building on the Green Belt to the north of Oxford were finally dashed by a ruling in the High Court last Friday 30 July.

OxCam Arc Vision Consultation

As the Government now consults on its Vision for the OxCam Arc, is this a growth promotion project or a way of delivering a clean, green recovery?  We fear the former, would love the latter.  But what hope of taking on the vested interests?

Consultation is open now and closes 31st August.

CPRE Oxfordshire, whilst supportive of the Oxfordshire 2050 Plan in principle, is concerned that the consultation document is not fit for purpose. Consultation is due to launch on the 30th of July and run for 10 weeks.

CPRE join other leading charities including RSPB and the Wildlife Trusts in releasing six tests that new planning rules must pass to put people and nature first.

CPRE Oxfordshire welcomes the Oxfordshire 2050 Plan public consultation, due to launch on 30th July: the views and needs of Oxfordshire’s people should be at the heart of the development and growth of the county.

Live in Oxford? What do you think the city should look like in 2040?
Just over a week to respond - consultation closes 25th August
