Can you breathe?

Thursday, 12 June 2014 16:44

South Oxfordshire is consulting on plans to improve air quality acrosss the District, especially in Henley, Wallingford and Watlington where pollution has reached levels identified by the government as potentially harmful to health.

You can read and comment on South Oxfordshire's Air Quality Management Plan here.   It contains a number of District wide proposals as well as specific actions aimed at the three areas most affected.

WATNEXT, a community-led campaign group in Watlington, has been helping to bring together a number of groups concerned with traffic and pollution issues.  You may be interested to see their leaflet which they have published in response to the consultation.  See the WATNEXT website.

CONSULTATION RUNS UNTIL 4 JULY, so act quickly!
