POETS, Planning Oxfordshire's Environment and Transport Sustainably, have raised concerns that road proposals linked to the controversial proposed housing development at Chalgrove airfield could pave the way for the Oxford to Cambridge expressway. POETS are a group of transport, environmental and planning experts.

Oxfordshire OpenThought consultation

CPRE Oxfordshire welcomes this new look approach to public engagement and the opportunity for the public to have their say on Oxfordshire’s future. 
However, this comes with a significant health-warning.

Countryside campaigners CPRE Oxfordshire have vowed to do all they can to challenge development plans that will see 30,000 houses built in South Oxfordshire.

Hearing sessions, which are part of the overall Examination into the Plan will be conducted virtually through online sessions using Microsoft Teams, are due to commence at 10.00am on Tuesday 14th July 2020. 

City aims to adopt Plan on June 8th.

STOP PRESS: The Secretary of State has directed South Oxfordshire District Council to progress its Local Plan through examination, to be adopted by December 2020.
