Port Meadow Case to go before Judge

Great news - our case to get a Judicial Review of the planning permission for the development at Port Meadow will be heard before a judge in October.

Thames Water's latest plan

CPRE has told Thames Water that its latest Plan needs to be much more ambitious on metering, water efficiency and looking at ways of bringing in water to the area from elsewhere. 

There are serious concerns about contamination at the site of the Oxford University development at Port Meadow.   What are Oxford City Council going to do?

A fair wind?

Government report on wind turbines calls for fairer deal for local communities.   A good move, but right development in right place should still take priority over 'bribes'.

We aren't the only ones who think the Oxford University development at Port Meadow is ugly.   It has been nominated for the 2013 Carbuncle Cup award for bad architecture.  Add your vote now!

Campaigners have discovered that a contamination study of land at Port Meadow, where Oxford University is completing controversial new accommodation blocks, has not yet been properly carried out even though it should have taken place before building work began.
