HS2 Phase One Environmental Statement

Over 10,000 pages later, we have waded through the HS2 Environmental Statement and submitted our response. Tranquillity issues, especially noise, remain a key concern for local communities. Deadline for your own response is Thurs 27 Feb.

HS2 bill timetable illegal?

The HS2 Hybrid Bill was submitted to parliament yesterday.  But with only 56 days consultation on 50,000 pages of documents, CPRE believes the consultation timescale is likely to breach international law.
