Being a citizen scientist is easy with CPRE's Star Count.
All you need to do is pick one clear night between 6-14 February and, from your house or garden, count all the stars you can see in the constellation of Orion, and then let CPRE know.
Don't know how to find Orion? Don't worry! There are full instructions on our national CPRE website. Here's all you need to know.
Taking part will help us build a nationwide picture of where there are dark skies for humans and wildlife to enjoy, and where we need to help local authorities do more to manage light pollution.
Join in and see the light (or the dark!)
