Visit to Ewelme - Saturday 19th September 2015

Join us for a visit to Ewelme - its historic early 15th-century church, alms houses, historic school & watercress beds.

We shall meet at Ewelme Church at 10.30 am for coffee and then a guided tour of the church, alms houses and school - 

Charge for the tour £5 plus donation for coffee, in aid of church funds.  Maximum 20.

We then go on to see the Watercress Beds, now managed by the Chiltern Society

Lunch at 12.30 pm – sandwiches, etc. available at the community village shop, or bring a packed lunch.

After lunch there will be a walk on Ewelme Downs.  Three or four miles.

If you would like lunch at the village shop  please let us know so that we can give advance notice of numbers.

Dogs are ONLY welcome on the walk on Ewelme Downs.

Directions:  Ewelme is off the B4009 between Watlington & Benson Post code OX10 6HP

Parking: Parking can be found on the road above the church, or at the recreation ground next to Cow Common
