CPRE Oxford litterpick at East Minchery Farm, 10am to Midday, Saturday 3 March
This event is part of OxClean's SpringClean 2012 campaign.
Meet at the entrance of the East Mincherey Farm at the bottom of the mount off Falcon Close in Blackbird Leys.
Please wear protective clothes and sturdy boots/ shoes and gloves. We will provide the litter picking sticks and plastic bags.

CPRE Banbury District 'Stars and Snowdrops' weekend.
Last Spring the CPRE Banbury District joined the Hanwell Community Observatory in their annual ‘Stars and Snowdrops’ fundraising weekend. After the success of last year, the Committee has decided to have another stall this Spring.
The Hanwell Castle grounds are covered with snowdrops, and the public are welcome to explore the 20 acres of woodland. Tea and homemade cakes will be available by a roaring log fire.
Saturday 12th February, noon till 5:00 pm and Sunday 13th, 10:30am till 5:00 pm.

CPRE Vale District Visit to Rousham House & Garden.
Private guided tour of the house from 2.45pm to 3.30pm with the opportunity afterwards to wander in the walled gardens, church and parkland by William Kent. Picnics welcome but no dogs or children, please. CPRE Bicester and Ploughley District Spring Walk: Morning walk through the glorious countryside of the Heyfords.
Start at 10.30am from the Bell Inn Lower Heyford, OX25 5NY. Circular walk of about 4 miles, returning to the Bell Inn for lunch (for those that wish).
Parking available in Lower Heyford. Children and dogs (on leads) most welcome.

Guided CPRE Walk along Oxford Green Belt Way - Saturday 28 May, 10.00am
As part of Oxford Preservation Trust's 'Discovering Places 2011', David Godfrey, Rights of Walk Consultant to the Oxfordshire Branch of the CPRE, will be leading a 7-mile circular walk from Abingdon to Radley, via Radley Lakes.
Please meet at 10.00 am, at Abbey Close (alias Abbey Meadows) car park in Abingdon and bring a picnic to have at Radley Lakes.
Those who wish can leave at Radley and return to Abingdon by the no. 35 bus.

Discover Oxford's Green Spaces - Sunday 29 May, 10.00am - 4.00pm
As part of Oxford Preservation Trust's 'Discovering Places 2011', the CPRE City District, in association with the Friends of the Trap Grounds, the Friends of Warneford Meadow, and the Friends of Oxpens Meadow, will be manning information stalls and organising trails and other activities on the three sites to promote CPRE's Oxford Green Spaces Circular Walk, a nine-mile self-guided route that links the three open spaces.
This event is free and booking is not necessary.
