CPRE Oxfordshire Buildings Trust

The CPRE Oxfordshire Buildings Trust was founded in 1971 with the intention of helping preserve and restore historic buildings around the county.

During 2007 the Trust made a donation towards the restoration of the Windmill at Great Haseley, a local landmark which has been derelict for a very long time. The Trust is still negotiating with the National Trust over the renovation of the Village Oven at Chastleton. The proposal is for the Buildings Trust to give the Oven to the National Trust for renovation. The Buildings Trust will also award a grant towards the cost of the work, and it is expected that another grant will be made by West Oxfordshire District Council.

Further information from The Secretary, Susan Ganter, 28 Spring Hill Road, Begbroke, Oxford OX5 1RX.
