Landscape & Environment - Tree Protection

To help protect Britain's forests, a felling licence from the Forestry Commission is required to fell trees in woodland areas. It is an offence to fell trees without a licence, if an exemption does not apply.

Local Authority Contacts in Oxfordshire

If you wish to protect a specific tree you may wish to apply to the local authority for a TPO. If you need advice on a tree issue, your first contact should be the District Council Tree Officer.
