CPRE is campaigning to save the Oxford Green Belt north of the City and protect the rural villages in south Cherwell.

Cherwell District Council wants to build almost 4,000 houses on the Green Belt, between north Oxford and Kidlington and between Kidlington, Yarnton and Begbroke.

If the Council's Local Plan is adopted, it will mean the obliteration of the 'Kidlington Gap' and the coalescence of the rural vilages of Yarnton and Begbroke with Kidlington, creating a massive urban extension north of the City.

The Oxford Green Belt is under threat as never before - we need your help to protect it for future generations!
