Green Spaces - Oxford Green Spaces Circular Walk

The Oxford Green Spaces Circular Walk, a nine mile circular walk around the city, was created in July 2010 by the Friends of Warneford Meadow, the Friends of the Trap Grounds, the Friends of Oxpens Meadow and CPRE Oxford City, with assistance from The Ramblers' Association, to increase awareness of Oxford's green spaces and to highlight the threats to many of the city’s much-loved open spaces.

The walk stretches from North Oxford’s Trap Grounds, which achieved Town Green status in 2006, along the canal and Mill Stream to the Oxpens Meadow, then through green spaces eastwards up to the Warneford Meadow and along unsuspected green stretches back to the Trap Grounds.

If you would like to buy an A3 laminated copy of the Walk, drawn by Alun Jones, CPRE Oxfordshire’s cartographer, they are available from the CPRE office at a price of £1.00 plus postage. Telephone: 01865 874780 or email.
